Even during your flight training, we connect you with potential employer airlines within the Lufthansa Group, provide guidance for your career entry and actively support you on your way to the cockpit.

We have developed an online tool to support our graduates: the Campus Plus portal. As a prospective or recent graduate, you can enter your qualifications, preferred airline or airlines, and possible entry dates. You can also see when a cockpit job is advertised.

The Campus Plus portal matches your profile with the requirements of advertised cockpit jobs and helps candidates and airlines connect at an early stage. This supports a structured transition from training into professional life.

And if your cockpit job does not work out right away, we will support you personally through this phase, offering guidance and practical assistance until you have found your cockpit job.

With the Take-off Promise, we give you an additional level of security: within 24 months of successfully completing your training by obtaining your licence, you will receive a binding offer from a Lufthansa Group airline - either for a full-time position or for a part-time position with at least 110 working days per year. If no such offer is made within this period, 50% of your training costs will be refunded.* Here you will find all information about the Take-off Promise.

It is a prerequisite for the reimbursement of the training costs that you put serious effort into finding employment. Furthermore, you must not delay the application process.
Your right to reimbursement of 50% of the training costs will expire on the day on which you do not accept the offer of the respective airline within the deadline set for accepting such offer.
If you reject an offer, your right to reimbursement of the training costs ceases to exist, but you can continue to be supported by us until the end of the campus period (up to 36 months after having obtained the license).
A binding claim arises exclusively from the provisions of the respective training contract.

At the same time, aviation is an industry in which hiring needs can change at short notice. Market phases, capacity adjustments or external factors may temporarily shift the immediate demand of individual airlines. In the medium and long term, however, the demand for pilots remains high - both worldwide and within the Lufthansa Group. It is therefore important not only to look at short-term developments, but to view your career path in a broader context.

There are many opportunities to enter the cockpits of Lufthansa Group airlines. Different airlines, fleets, operational profiles and corporate cultures offer a variety of ways to begin your career. Opportunities to move within the Group are generally possible - and existing barriers are intended to be reduced further over time. This means your path in the cockpit is not just an entry point, but can continue to develop flexibly and in many different directions over the long term.
