FREE DLR CERTIFICATE AND EASEMENTS IN THE SELECTION PROCESS FOR SPHAIR CANDIDATES

You completed the SPHAIR program and received a recommendation for a career as a pilot? Then you are ideally prepared to jump-start your career as a pilot with one of the Swiss airlines – SWISS or Edelweiss. Your training to become an airline transport pilot will take place at the European Flight Academy, the Lufthansa Group flight school.

Your benefits are:

Assumption of costs for participation in the assessment for the DLR certificate, the first selection step for the European Flight Academy. The certificate is sponsored by SWISS and EFA, as SPHAIR graduates’ prospects of success in our selection process are very high (SPHAIR certificate may not be older than two years at the time of application; offer limited to one-time reimbursement per person).
If you intend to conclude a declaration of intent to hire with SWISS or Edelweiss, which offers you not only great career prospects but also financial advantages, one selection step will be credited to you under an additional condition and you will no longer have to complete this step. The condition to be fulfilled for this is that you have achieved exclusively "standard" or "above standard" classifications in the parameters in the section "assessment of aeronautical skills from the flight course".
No VFAL screening is required to apply for VFAL support money (training contributions for professional airline pilots).
