Takeoff of an airplane.

Your career as a pilot

READY FOR TAKE-OFF

What happens after you completed your training?

AN OVERVIEW OF YOUR POSSIBILITIES

You made it and you successfully completed your training at the European Flight Academy? Congratulations! In addition to gaining the tools for becoming an excellent pilot, comprehensive theoretical knowledge, and a fair amount of flying experience, you most likely will have had many personal experiences and made new friends.

What now? What is next for you, how will you find a job in a cockpit with your desired airline as quickly as possible, and how do you launch your career as a pilot? Do you want to study beforehand or parallel to your job?

We are by your side also after your training – with the campus model. It aims at placing you as quickly as possible into cockpit jobs that become available within Lufthansa Group and outside it. Learn more about the campus model and the opportunities available to new pilots.

You can see from our take-off promise just how seriously we take this matter: Should you not receive an offer for a job in the cockpit of a Lufthansa Group airline within 24 months after having completed the training, you will be reimbursed for 50% of the training costs. You can find more information on the page on the Take-off-Promise.
