The corona pandemic is having an immense impact on the global aviation sector. This also affects the European Flight Academy. The flight school operations is placed on hold at least until December 31st, 2020. During this time, all assessments will be postponed and we will not be accepting any registrations for the SWISS pilot training programme.

The European Flight Academy maintains a fleet of more than 50 modern training aircraft at various locations such as Germany, Switzerland, and the USA. Our training has a clear aim: to get excellent pilots into the airline’s cockpits.

International Possibilities

After the training course, you can take your place in the cockpit of a SWISS aircraft.

Towards the License in Approx. 2 Years

After seven weeks in the cockpit for the first time, in about 22 months fit for the airline.

Can I become a pilot without perfect sight?

Yes, not all pilots have 20/20 vision. Your eyesight will be assessed by a doctor as part of your medical.

Do I need to have high grades in math and the sciences at school?

We test your knowledge of technical and physical processes as well as your technical understanding. This means it is advantageous to have done well in math and physics from years 8 to 11. We also greatly value your motivation to achieve your goals and your passion for the job.
